The need to establish technical recommendations on driver control under the influence of alcohol to public policy managers, operators and controllers of road safety in this region is analyzed.International evidence shows that the countermeasures for drunk driving can consistently produce short and long -term reductions at the population level in mortality and morbidity related to road accidents.
